A mango is a stone fruit produced from numerous species of tropical trees belonging to the flowering plant genus magnifier, cultivated mostly for their edible fruit. Most of the these species are found in nature as wild mangoes. The genus belongs to the cashew family.

Its juicy fruit is a rich source of Vitamin C, Vitamin A & D. Mangoes cultivated in India from time immemorial.

  2. Sindoora  - Uttar pradesh, South India - June and July
  3. Malda - West bengal and Bihar - May and June.
  4. Banganapali - Andhra pradesh, Telungana, Tamil Nadu - April to June.
  5. Himsagar/ Kishan Bhog - West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar - May to June.
  6. Dashehari - Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab - June to July
  7. Langra - Uttarpradesh , Bihar, West Bengal, Punjab, Odisha - May to June.
  8. Kesar - Gujarat - June to July.
  9. Chalsa  - Uttarpradesh, Bihar, Haryana and Punjab- July to August.
